There is a new day in worship at First United
Methodist Church at 11:15 am, and we hope it might include you! In fact,
that's what it is called:
New Day Worship!
What is our New Day service like? We offer a choice for worshippers between the traditional liturgical worship we do so well at 9 am
and a more contemporary style (11:15 am service) which is so popular all across the country.
Praising God is the dominant theme.
Music is provided by our 14 member "Hearts on Fire" praise band.
It's a simple service of singing, prayer, scripture and message, usually within 45-50 minutes.
Multi-media is frequently used, with visual projection, film clips, chancel drama,
sermon illustrations, and whatever else we can manage.
Families will be kept together, with children given special attention through messages, media and materials designed for them.
